LSST mirror en route to Chile

The LSST project has passed a major milestone, with the departure of its primary-tertiary mirror from Tucson, at the start of its journey to the summit facility in Chile. 

The image below shows the mirror underway on its slow journey to Houston for onward sea travel to Chile
